Administrative Law | E. Erotokritou & CO
Administrative Law, as a department of Public Law, is the set of rules governing the legal means of action of the Public Administration that regulate the organization and functioning of the State as well as other bodies of the public authority. Under Cypriot Law the decision of any public body or authority that affects the rights of an individual or a company may be appealed before Administrative Courts.
The Administrative Courts can then either confirm or annul that decision. Consequently, the right of challenge is extremely wide and extends from challenges related to decisions made, regarding the payment or non-payment of state benefits to the promotion of civil servants in the public (and wider public) sector.
